Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive at Kigoma airstrip and transfer by boat to Mahale Mountains National Park. Settle into your lodge or camp and enjoy the stunning lakeside scenery.
Overnight at Mahale lodge/camp. -
Day 2: Begin your chimpanzee trekking adventure. Guided tracking through dense forest to observe wild chimpanzees in their natural habitat, along with other wildlife and bird species.
Overnight at Mahale lodge/camp. -
Day 3: Morning chimpanzee tracking or nature walk. Afternoon boat trip on Lake Tanganyika for relaxation and wildlife viewing including hippos and various fish species.
Overnight at Mahale lodge/camp. -
Day 4: After breakfast, transfer back by boat to Kigoma for your onward journey or flight.
End of safari.
